The charges keeping piling up for a Big Coppitt Key man who was arrested last month for allegedly breaking into cars and stealing credit cards.
Eric Pazian, 22, was charged Monday with a felony count of grand theft. It's the latest felony for Pazian, who was initially arrested July 16 and charged with two felony counts of auto burglary, one felony count of grand theft and two felony counts of using another person's identification without consent.
That arrest stemmed from two auto break-ins July 16 on Driftwood Drive in Key Haven in which credit cards were stolen and used at a Key West bar, for a taxi ride and to buy two bottles of alcohol. At the time, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said the taxi driver's description of his fare and video surveillance from the bar -- the agency didn't say which one -- led them to Pazian.
Detectives went to his Star Lane home, where Pazian was sleeping among some of the credit cards. He was taken into custody.
Since then, the Sheriff's Office says, Pazian has been linked to other auto break-ins in the Lower Keys. Overall, he faces four auto burglary counts, seven grand theft charges, 15 charges of using another person's ID and two counts of altering a public document.
Total bond is $204,000.
