Recipe: Annette’s peanut butter pie

  • One pre-made Oreo pie crust (or 1 1/2 cup crushed Oreo cookies and 4 tbsp melted butter, mixed and pressed into a 9 inch pie pan)
  • 16 oz softened cream cheese
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 14 oz peanut butter (crunchy or creamy — Annette likes crunchy!)
  • 8 oz tub softened Cool Whip
  • Directions

    Blend cream cheese and sugar together, add peanut butter.

    Fold in Cool Whip.

    Pour into pie shell, refrigerate 6 to 8 hours (can be frozen).

    Slice and serve, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Garnish with bananas or chocolate chips.
