More than $1 million worth of cocaine washed up on the shore of the Florida Keys earlier this month, according to the U.S. Border Patrol.

The drugs were packaged in 29 bricks with a total weight of 35 kilograms, said Agent Adam Hoffner, head of the U.S. Border Patrol’s operations in the Keys.

The drugs were actually found last Wednesday, July 1, near the Middle Keys city of Marathon by someone who reported them to the police, Hoffner said.
