New look for Keynoter Publishing in digital and print

Dear Readers,

We're pleased to announce some enhancements to the Keynoter and Reporter newspapers which you'll begin to see in today’s Keynoter.

We appreciate our readers’ passion for local news and we are proud to be your news source for everything Florida Keys. Our accurate, timely news gathering is something you rely on and look forward to.

This week, we’ve redesigned both our newspapers and our website, changing our web address to flkeysnews.com. The look and organization is improved and the design itself has a bolder look — and, no, we did not make the type smaller. Why are we doing this? Simply put, to meet your needs for news in the platform that best suits your lifestyle.

You’ll be seeing the same amount of news we have always produced, not less. And what also isn't changing is our deep commitment to keeping you informed and engaged, while celebrating what’s truly special in the Keys community.

The changes we're making will make the print paper more visually appealing, with improved section headers, more white space and bigger photos. You'll see summaries at the top of stories, which will give you a quick synopsis if you don't have time for a deeper read.

We're also enhancing storytelling across our digital platforms, from desktops to smartphones to laptops and tablets, and we will continue to upgrade the digital experience.

We hope you’ll find these changes to be a step in the right direction. We’ve tried to preserve most of everything you like and add a few more reasons for you to keep reading us for at least another 60 years.

As always, thank you for reading the Keynoter and Reporter.
