Florida Keys Community College is holding three enrollment expos to help new students quickly get on the path toward their academic goals this fall semester, which begins Aug. 26.
The events are designed to provide essential information about degree and certificate options, and financial aid and payment plans. New students will receive a $100 scholarship from the college's foundation. Those who submit a completed application during one of the events will not be charged an application fee, a savings of $30.
The expos are:
- Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. at the Upper Keys Center at Coral Shores High School at mile marker 90 in Tavernier.
- Aug. 12 at 6 p.m. at the Stock Island campus on College Road.
- Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. at the Middle Keys Center at Marathon High School on Sombrero Beach Road.
Prospective students are encouraged to bring the following, if readily available, to further expedite the process: Transcripts (college and high school), two forms of proof of Florida residency and official test scores (SAT, ACT, and/or PERT).
