Boat-crushing is messing with the air quality
Wrecked boats (courtesy of Hurricane Irma) are being crushed in the open at Harry Harris Park. I am concerned about the potential health hazards of airborne debris — which would stand a better chance of being caught by barriers.
I live next to Harry Harris Park here in the Upper Keys, and I am worried about particulates we all might be breathing as a result of the open crushing.
Someone in charge should answer the obvious question: Why no barriers?
